The HR Department took on the challenge to fill specialized positions emerging from the Bank’s growth by optimizing its recruitment system to hire the right person for the right job.

Training Center

Located at the heart of the Lebanese capital, the Bank of Beirut Academy was developed in 2009. Trainings, simulations and testing, as per international standards, are offered in curriculum in the programs. Powered by the motto "Your Path to High Performance” the Academy Mission is to ensure that staff excel in delivering valuable service to BoB clients, while having the opportunity to climb the career ladder.

Pioneers in Training Methodology

Along with its focus on the continuous professional development of BoB staff, the Academy supports the bank’s community outreach initiatives for educating youth through training projects initiated by and in coordination with the Retail Banking Division.

 

HANDS-ON BANKING course:  Granting business students a Head Start with priority for recruitment, this course is offered twice a year, free of charge, with a focus on the “applied side of Retail Banking”. Certified by Senior Management and facilitated by our Heads of Departments it has to date offered arround 500 students since its start in Feb 2014.   

 

CAREER BOOT CAMP: In partnership with AMIDEAST, university students are given access to mentoring and coaching over a 6 day period, offering them a professional preparation for the job market. Started in February 2011, more than 500 students benefited from this series of free workshops.
