Beirut – February 27, 2024 - Under the title of “Towards a BankTech Ecosystem for the Healthcare Industry” Bank of Beirut held a Business Conference gathering 150+ healthcare industry leaders, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies along with insurance companies.

The Business Conference held in collaboration with Globemed Lebanon and MaksLoyd International Group on February 27 at the Phoenicia Hotel Beirut explored the intersection between Banking technology and the Healthcare sector and focused on the electronic payment solutions provided by the Bank for the medical and healthcare industry.  

The conference featured panels with expert leaders in the medical and healthcare field, focusing on integrated banking and digital solutions for the healthcare sector. Distinguished panelists from GlobeMed, SNA, MaksLoyd International Group, Mersaco, Samu du Liban, Comin Insurance, Nexus Care, St Charles Medical Committee, Bou Younes Pharmacy and other leading experts shared their insights and expertise, offering attendees valuable perspectives on main challenges and opportunities of the digital transformation in the healthcare industry in addition to the role of the Bank in automating the healthcare daily financial operations and processes.

Mr. Fred Khoury, Transaction Banking Manager – Bank of Beirut highlighted the Business Banking e-solutions tailored by the Bank for hospitals, pharmaceutical firms, physicians, healthcare insurance companies and Third Party Administrators, offering a comprehensive and integrated ecosystem including e-commerce, automated collection and payment services, e-invoicing and other cash management services.
